Welcome to Carmine's Pizzeria, a beloved spot in East Williamsburg that has been winning over customers with their delicious pizza and Italian dishes for years. This local gem offers a casual and lively atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.
At Carmine's, you can expect to find a wide variety of pizza options, including traditional slices like pepperoni and margherita, as well as unique creations like the Ben Frank slice with fresh basil. The wood-fired oven gives their pizza that perfect thin and crispy crust that pairs well with their flavorful sauces and high-quality toppings.
Customers rave about Carmine's homemade sauces, particularly the pesto, vodka sauce, and cacio pepe, which elevate their dishes to the next level. The menu also includes pasta dishes like chicken marsala and zucchini with marinara sauce, as well as appetizers like calamari and fresh mozzarella salads.
One of the standout dishes at Carmine's is the baby pepperoni Sicilian slice, described as absolute perfection by one customer. Their tri-color slice, combining different sauces, is another favorite among patrons.
Whether you're stopping by for a quick slice or sitting down for a full meal, Carmine's Pizzeria offers something for everyone. With friendly service, a fun atmosphere, and a menu full of delicious options, it's no wonder why this local spot has become a go-to pizzeria for many in the area.

This review is long overdue. Carmine's is my go to pizza place when I'm craving a slice or slices. Always fresh, delicious and satisfying. But Carmine's is much more than pizza. Their pasta dishes are amazing as well.

Carmine's is THE pizzeria in East Williamsburg. I miss the homemade Italian dishes they used to have up front when this place was smaller ... their expansion to the next-door sports bar changed the old-school family vibe this place had 20 years ago. I hope it's a successful biz model, because I hope Carmine's never disappears. I will always keep coming out on the L and make an excuse to stop at Graham Ave for this slice. Great brick oven, and high quality ingredients. The pepperoni, soppresatta, and sausage have personality. Great eggplant slice... "Ben Frank" slice is a perfect take on the margherita style, fresh flavorful basil. The wood-fired oven is perfect. The classic thin crispy vibe is there, but they keep their slices a little floppier than some other places. I think it really works for this style, because the dough is delicious and blends well with their sauce/cheese proportions. And Carmine's sauces can be put on the top shelf, in the conversation with all the more famous pizzerias you've heard about in Brooklyn. Great job with the pesto, the vodka sauce, and cacio pepe. They have some inventive slices too. So many different grandma's. Burrata with honey? Yes please. This place makes me want to try everything on the menu. I get the feeling they are really next-level, when it comes to the homemade sauces. NEW YORK PIZZA RAT APPROVED !

Get the baby pepperoni Sicilian absolute perfection. Cheaper prices for cash payment. Quick service, and lotsssss of choices.

Fantastic slice shop/pizza delivery spot! I often order full pies from here for delivery, and I have to say the only reason I'm docking a star here is because as compared to some other pizzerias in the city, their pies don't hold up QUITE as well taste/texture-wise after sitting around for a bit in the delivery process. But as far as the slices pictured that I ate recently while in the shop, no notes -- absolutely wonderful, flavorful, filling pizza. I especially liked the tri-color slice as the combination of sauces was nothing short of perfection. In-house service is great, slices come out fast. Delivery can take a bit but overall it's a great pizza so worth the wait! The ambiance in the shop itself is also very fun, there's limited seating but it shares a door with a neighboring bar (of the same name I believe) that I have yet to check out fully but certainly adds to the atmosphere. From the outside it sure looks like a fun and lively bar.

Great local find for Lunch/pre game before a concert close by. Casual locals restaurant sports bar. Plenty of free and metered parking available on Saturday afternoon. Parking during the weekdays is very difficult in the area. Service at the bar was fantastic as was the Pizza and Stromboli. The Stromboli is tremendous and serves at least 3. The pizza was delicious and fresh made with quality ingredients. I would not hesitate to return when I am in the area.

Very fast pizza spot. The two Sicilian pieces I got were chicken broccoli and vodka sausage. Although I enjoyed the vodka sausage a lot, I did not find the chicken broccoli as good mainly due to the broccoli (which I had not tried on pizza before). It definitely added a weird texture and was not super flavorful so I did not find it to be as tasteful. The vodka sausage was amazing and really felt like I was eating pasta on a pizza

Great spot for Sicilian Pizza! I came on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. They had just brought a lot of the pizzas out too. I got my food quickly, and sat down at one of the few tables in the pizzeria. I think they have more seats in the back, connected to the restaurant. The walls were lined with baseball memorabilia. I ordered several slices: * Pepperoni and Vodka Sicilian Slice - 9/10 - This was my favorite slice. The pepperoni got really crispy in the oven and the crust was fluffy in the middle and crunchy on the bottom. My only gripe is that it was pretty greasy. * Tricolor Grandma Slice - 8.5/10 - The three sauces, pesto, vodka, and tomato, tasted fresh and homemade. The grandma style crust is thinner than the Sicilian, but I prefer the fluffiness of the Sicilian. * Barbecue Chicken Sicilian Slice - 7.5/10 - I liked the crust and chicken, but the particular barbecue sauce they used had a weird aftertaste. * Chicken Parmesan Sandwich on a Garlic Knot - 7.5/10 - I like the idea of this sandwich, but the execution could use some improvement. The garlic knot wasn't crispy enough and was too greasy. The mozzarella cheese on the sandwich wasn't melted either. Overall, I would come again if I'm in the neighborhood and wanted a quick bite. It's not the cheapest pizza, but I think it's worth the price.

12/30/23: After funeral looking for someplace to eat and decided upon Carmines. They have a pizza and many items to go and a larger dining area. The oven is nice touch and makes it homey and cosy in the dining area. Shrimp Scampie had a lemony aftertaste wasn't to my liking asked for some vodka sauce which made it more appealing. We had calamari, delicious and the marinara sauce equally yummy. Pizza definitely one of the best I've had. Also had a round of shots. Wait staff all pleasant friendly and engaging. All in all great dine had by all. Would definitely return.
